TALK
не только язык или разговор, но и жаргон, так что к нашему словарю это слово имеет прямое отношение. Как и со всяким распространенным - с ним много сочетаний:

Talk turkey — говорить просто, выкладывать все начистоту. Turkey (индейка) из этого выражения - близкая родственница той, что подают к столу в День Благодарения. Это все из легенд о взаимоотношениях белых с индейцами (известно даже имя индейца, от которого пошло данное выражение; звали его Вампум).

Talking head — дословно - говорящая голова. На телевидении, конечно. Помните, как Карлсон удивился, когда ее впервые в этом ящике увидел? В Америке любят показывать сразу несколько агрессивных, перебивающих друг друга голов во время теледискуссий (владельцы этих голов часто находятся в разных городах). Если это какое-нибудь псевдоконсервативное шоу типа O'Reily Factor - так прямо Змей Горыныч получается - все головы пышут жаром, рычат и воняют.

Talker — болтун.

Talk to huey (to) = to talk on a big white phone — блевать (sorry).
